Situational P.P.P - it is predictable, easy to deliver, follows a kind of lock-step approach so not much prep BUT the teacher must teach and explain because the students are not given anything to do...other than listen.

It is NEVER a good method for high levels - unless you are a grammar guru. Are you ready to explain when ellipis is used in a mixed conditional sentence at moments notice?
