On the scheduling, look for Green $$. You can click on Green $ to see the balance. REMEMBER the # you see there is what's already on the schedule INCLUDING future visits. DO NOT USE SHIFT COUNTS to verify this.
Can we pass approved auth hours for a patient and bill the client the balance? If so, when would this apply?
No. Unless they have agreed to be a private pay client and we have a credit card auth on file.

What differs the CNA from an HHA?
CNA: licensed in state of Florida, school practicum, Allowed to do Vital Signs, can work hospitals & nursing homes
HHA: Certificate- no license, no practicum, only can do Vital Signs AFTER competency- no hospitals or nursing homes
Personal Care patients are re-assessed by a nurse how often?
Every 90 days

What is a National Account?
A pharmacy or a company who Brightstar signs a contract with for us to provide services. The rate is already agreed upon based on our state.
What is a supervisory visit for an RN?
An RN supervises another RN during their shift to assess uniform, appearance, safe care, skills being performed, RNs overall performance. This is done at least once a year and within first 90 days.
True or False: When I see an RN scheduled at 3pm, I can tell the patient the nurse is going at 3pm?
BIG NO. The schedule on ABS are placeholders. RNs schedule specific times directly with patient via phone call.
