Screens

The topic about screens that was really interesting to me was how it can encourage unhealthy eating. I never knew that the media could influence on what you want to eat, and it leads me to think about what else is the media influencing young children?

importance of observing children

to identify needs, watch for behavioral concerns, monitor development and health

Stress

Stress can affect development in many ways. If a child is abused, they can become hyper alert everywhere, and it can cause them to lose social interactions and make behavior issues. However, stress can be good by teaching problem solving and motivating children, but many times stress can disrupt natural development.
