Name one reason keeping client assistance records, personal/demographic information, household information, and case notes accurate and up to date are important.
Any answer: grant compliance, continuity of care, legal protection, reporting, etc.
Why is it important to avoid discussing clients with staff who aren't involved in the case?
A few reasons: One is confidentiality. Staff members that are not involved directly in cases are defaulted to a "need to know basis". This helps staff focus on their own case loads/job duties, without being overly aware of what other clients are experiencing. Again, case conferencing is different, but there is a time and a place for that.
