What is the first thing you should do when you come into the classroom?
Put your backpack away, put any papers for Ms. Carlson in the black bin, and put your folder in the mailbox.
When should you pack up to go home?
At the end of the day, when you're dismissed by Ms. Carlson
When someone says this phrase, we respond "Everybody freeze!"
"Macaroni and cheese!"
When is it okay to be in the cubbies?
In the morning, when putting away our bags; in the afternoon, when packing up for the day; before lunch or snack, when we get our lunchboxes; or after we ask permission and Ms. Carlson says yes.

We are silent so we can hear what Mrs. Kirkpatrick is saying.
What happens when the yellow timer goes off?
We stop what we're doing and prepare for a transition.
What are four ways we can be safe in the classroom?

Who is Todd and how is he included in the circle?
Todd is a triceratops. He reminds us to listen to the speaker holding him.
Where can I find the tangram puzzles, and where do I find the tangrams?
The tangram puzzles are on the back table, and Ms. Carlson has the tangrams.
When I'm packed up and my folder is in my bag, what do I do next?
Leave my backpack at my desk and sit in the circle.

How can we show respect during conversations?
If I'm speaking, I make sure my friends can hear me. I make eye contact, and speak at a regular speed. If I'm listening, I'm making eye contact. My voice is off, unless someone asks me a question.
What do I do if I need a pencil?
Raise my pencil and wait to be called on. When Ms. Carlson says it's okay, put my pencil in the green bucket and take a pencil from the blue bucket.
