A speeding infraction on a driver's abstract for speeding this many km/h over the limit will restrict eligibility
We would not accept 30km/h over on a driving abstract. It's considered a serious conviction internally
Ottawa is notorious for having the only "no-com" cars in the regions we operate in. These are the key differences for using "no-com" cars vs other Round-Trip vehicles
These vehicles must be accessed through a physical fob, not the app. The trip starts and ends by tapping the fob against the reader on the windshield.
The fob must also be used during stopovers to both lock the car when leaving and unlock the car when returning.
(Bonus: Afterwards, if you ended your trip early, you must press "release" on the app to adjust your time.)
This type of insurance coverage is automatically included for members regardless of their Damage Protection Plan selection
Third party Liability coverage:
From 7.1 of our Rules and Regulations:
a) third-party liability: any person authorized to operate a vehicle under the Rules and Regulations is covered by a third-party liability insurance policy and subject to all its terms, conditions, and exclusions. The third-party liability coverage is $5 million when using vehicles based in Quebec (insured by Beneva), $2 million for vehicles based in other Canadian provinces (insured by Unica)
With the Value plan, a Toronto FLEX trip for 20 kilometres over 2 hours on a weekday should cost this much.
$28.20 - $18.00 for time, and $10.20 for mileage
The following perk applies in this case: "Access to FLEX vehicles at the round-trip vehicle price of your Open Plus or Value plan if cheaper."
The member could expect to be charged $32.20 at $16.10 per hour with 100 kilometres included on standard FLEX rates. So, because of the perk, the member saves $4.00
A member who finishes a trip with an Unlimited FLEX pass on their account must wait this long before 'blocking' another FLEX vehicle in order for the FLEX pass to apply to their next trip.
45 minutes.
A clean 45 minutes must exist between the end of one trip and the time the next car is blocked.
If a member blocks a vehicle after 30 minutes of waiting, regardless whether they take the car or not, they must wait another 45 minutes after the block ends before the FLEX pass can apply again.
