How is college different from High School?
College: You have choice: of major, classes, schedule, and professors, discussions are a big part of your learning, developing critical thinking and being able to vocalize your opinion about a topic of discussion and back that idea(s) by solid scholarly research that has been peer reviewed. It is transformational and can be very meaningful.

What is the Pomodoro Technique. You take a 30 minute interval and you break it up into 25 minute intervals of work with a 5 minute break in between this is known as one pomodoro after the time clock that the inventor used to create the technique. The idea is to structure your study time with blocks of "Pomodoro's".

This is a brain that operates on joy and fun because it is in a secure learning environment where failures are not deemed bad they are part of the learning experience.

Why does learning brain happen?
Learning brain occurs when students feel supported and guided especially when making mistakes. They are not shamed but assisted in their learning to understand why they made their mistake and to have opportunities to correct it and get it right.
