4. If the explorer is ≥18, he/she may ride graveyard IF with a Post Advisor/have prior approval from a Post Advisor.

5. The first ride-along must be with a CSI Post Advisor.

What are things an explorer can AND cannot do? (Name 4 of each)

CAN:

5. Accompany CSAs/Officers into residences and scenes, including private property

CANNOT:

4. Accompany a CSA on a call with a high threat level to personnel. This should be evaluated on a call by call basis by the CSA. In these circumstances, the CSA should determine if the Explorer can simply remain in the vehicle or if they should be dropped off somewhere safe. Supervisors are to monitor this process to ensure the safety of the explorer.

5. Fingerprint process any scene or take elimination fingerprints
