Mindfulness is focusing the mind on the present moment, without judgement and without trying to change it. Being mindful is being alert and aware to what is happening inside and around you. Experiencing reality as it truly is. The continual task of bringing the mind back to the present moment, without judgement. It is learning to be in control of your own thoughts, emotions, and behaviors instead of them being in control of you. Putting your mind where you want it to be. Not worrying about the past or the future.
