High context vs. low context
High context: background information, use of 'WH', and deeper understanding.
Low context: basic and straightforward information. a single comment or phrase without context.
Cultural Mediation
How we function in the hearing world vs. the deaf world. Use real-life mediation and allow the deaf individual to hold themselves rather than make alterations to the environment. Get the full message across and meditate turn-taking.
