FALSE! Although we love to get demographic data, participants are not required to provide this information.
Where can I find digital consent forms?
On REDCap. Each participant has their own corresponding consent form for each different type of study we have in lab.
What do I need to do before I start the recording of a participant?
Show the whiteboard with study info to the camera
Mercedes has a phone screen scheduled for 2:30 PM with a participant, but she is not in the lab space. Can she use her personal cell to contact this participant?
NO! Participant contact should only be done on lab devices- including our lab phone lines.

FALSE! All lab members must attend lab meetings unless using one of their two lab meeting absences.
When processing paper demographics forms, where do I need to put them?
Enter the demographic data into REDCap, and store them separately from consent forms, in an intuitively named file folder, with the REDCap ID on the left-hand side. This should be stored in the Records to be processed cabinet so the lab manager can store them in their locked filing system
If the parent signs their consent, but the child says no to the assent script 3 times, what do you do?
When collecting video data out in "the wild", how do we upload our video data from the camcorders?
You have to hook up the camcorders you recorded video on to the lab desktop and deposit it into Seagate Hub and Restricted Drive

False. Modelo is an alcohol brand, and would therefore not be appropriate to wear around children.
Mark has not yet been added to the IRB, but the lab manager asks him to process participant sign-up data into REDCap. Is he allowed to do this?
No! All lab members must be on the IRB before interacting with any data or sensitive information, regardless of who asks him to do so.

Navigate to the appropriate ID, go to the appropriate consent form, and log out and open survey
How do you know that the camcorder has been successfully connected to the desktop?
You will see a blue connected icon, and a new location in finder will pop up called "Untitled".
Johnny is a part of the DISC lab and is out of town on a trip, but he realized he left his laptop in the lab. Can he ask his friend, who is not in the DISC Lab, to grab his laptop for him by giving him the code to the lab lockbox?
NO!
