No. When information is public, such as an alarm or weather warning, it is your responsibility to make yourself safe. Knocking on doors could risk your life and creates liabilities if you miss a door or resident.

Absolutely. You can file reports about fellow RAs, ARHCs, and ProStaff too! It is important to write a CARE report any time that you are concerned about an individual's mental, physical, or academic well-being.
Where should residents go in case of a tornado warning?
Usually, the lowest level of the residence hall and as far away from windows and glass in the hall as possible. For example, a ground floor hallway with room doors closed. This should be discussed with your staff and agreed upon for safety.

What is our guest policy?
Maximum of 4 nights at a time, or 8 nights per month. Anyone who does not have card access to a building must be signed in as a guest.
You are called to a room and find alcohol (two possible scenarios).
1. Everyone in the room is at least 21 years of age and can legally be drinking. No calls need to be made. (Door must be closed and residents should not be intoxicated in a public space in the hall)
2. Someone is under 21, in which case, alcohol needs to be disposed of and a report needs to be filed. Drake Public Safety or the ProStaff duty phone may be called for additional support.

- Check to see where the mold is
- Fill out a work order including the details of where the mold is located
Note: Facilities says about 1 in every 50 cases is mold and the others are usually dust that has collected because of humidity. They still treat every case as if it is mold, test it, and spray mold-killing cleaner on the areas, removing the possible mold.
