Teachers use the results from each child's developmental assessment, ASQ & ASQSE screenings, and IFSPs to choose next- step goals specific to each child.
What is Individualized Teaching?
Staff members are expected to take care of materials and equipment and teach children to do the same. Extramaterials not currently being used in teh indoor learning enviornemnt must be store in designated storage areas. Classroom staff are nto to stack material on top of cupboards & shelves in teh classroom.
What is the Maintenance of Equipment and Materials?
Created goals with parents within 60 days of enrollment.
What is a Family Partnership Agreement.
At least one staff member should be sitting at the table with the children, supervising, and engaging in conversations with the children.
What is policy on Family-Style Meal Service?
Children who are homeless, on public assistance (TANF, SNAP, or SSI), or in Foster Care.
Categorically Eligible
For infants and younger toddlers, it is the staff members lap or chest. For older toddlers, it may be a place where teachers model and practice calm down breathing and other techniques.
What is the Safe Place?
If a child misses lunch due to coming in late or falling asleep prior to lunch, the child will be offered a snack using 2 food components and milk.
