Why is having empathy important?
Empathy allows us to understand others and, quite often, compels us to take action to relieve another person's suffering.
Why is important to have healthy coping skills?
When our bodies are stressed or overwhelmed, we do not think logically. If we can access coping skills during these times, we can calm our bodies and make better decisions.
