How do I get to the passport office?

It is inside the Stonebriar Mall, don't tell them to go through the Hyatt Hotel. They can go through the second floor of Nordstrom. From there, they go to the food court and follow the hallway behind the carousel and bathrooms.

How many days does a guest have to pick up their hold from a locker?

3 days.

What do we do if a wrong library book comes in?

We try to check it in first to make sure it's not an ILL, and then we log it in the wrong library log and put it on the correct section of the wrong library cart.

When do we call guests if working in the backroom?

When a guest turns in a movie or audiobook without a disc inside or when they return a backpack or maker kit with something missing.

What extra tasks does the Mall locker include compared to the FAC locker?

When doing the mall locker, we need to also pick up the deposit and transmittals from the passport office from the night before. Only passport agents can do this.

What do we do with a Frisco library book that's not in catalog?

We attach a damage assessment sticky note to the item and circle not in catalog before putting it on the weed cart.

How can guests pay bills online?

They can go to friscolibrary.com and login or login to their Frisco Library app to access their bills. From there, they're taken to a separate website to actually pay for their bills.

Hit the transfer button, input the extension you're trying to reach, then hit the transfer button again. This can't be done if the call is on hold.

When a guest account is blocked, how many times do we contact them before we cancel their locker hold?

3 times: on the 2nd, 4th, and 6th day. On the 7th day we remove their hold.

If a book repeatedly falls in the exception bin and workflows shows that the item is checked in, what could be the problem?

It's cover could be too shiny. Try opening the book so that the RFID tag is face down on the AMH so it can better read it.
