What is the difference between dropping a class and withdrawing from a class?
The drop window is much shorter and typically includes a refund for the class. A Withdraw will remain on your transcript as a (W) but will not affect your GPA; typically, there is no refund with a W.

A student has the right to appeal a final course grade. Does that right guarantee that the grade will be changed?
No. The student has the right to request a review through the formal appeal process, but must provide evidence and follow the required steps and deadlines.
An instructor allows limited AI assistance. What should a student do before submitting work created with AI support?
The student should follow the instructor’s policy, verify the information, revise the work into their own thinking and voice, protect private information, disclose AI use when required, and be able to explain the submitted work.
