They both warn her that Hamlet will always put the kingdom before her and doesn't actually love her, he just says whatever he wants.
She promises that she will not see him anymore.

Act II - Why does Polonius set up a meeting between Hamlet and Ophelia after their breakup?
He wants to spy on them and prove that Hamlet has gone crazy because he is heartbroken.
Act II - What does Hamlet plan when he sees some actors have come to the castle?
Hamlet plans to have the actors put on a play that reenacts his fathers death to prove that Claudius is guilty.

Act III - How does Hamlet react to Ophelia returning his gifts after breaking up?
He insults Ophelia telling her to go off and be a nun for the rest of her life, throws/drags her around, gives her mixed messages saying he once loved her then saying he never did. He was overall just very violent.
Act III - Why does Hamlet not kill Claudius the first time even when he had the perfect opportunity to?
Even though Claudius was all alone, he was praying in a confession booth, so Hamlet realized that if he killed him now he would go to Heaven as he now had a clean soul. He felt it wouldn't be good revenge if he went to Heaven instead of Hell.

They plan a fencing match between Laertes and Hamlet. Laertes' sword will be unguarded and dipped in poison. Claudius will have a cup of wine with poison incase Laertes doesn't land a hit.
Act IV - What happened to Ophelia after her father was killed?
She went insane, talking in riddles, singing songs about death and handed out imaginary flowers each with special meaning. She eventually couldn't take it anymore and killed herself.
