How does depression affect a persons brain? Use correct terminology.
The lack of chemicals like seratonin, norephinepherin, and dopamine make it difficult for the brain to send and receive messages. Our brain uses neurons to send and receive messages. The successful transfer of a message is called a synapse and uses chemicals to get a message from one neurons to another. When there isn't enough chemicals the message fails to send properly this is known as a synaptic gap. The incomplete transfer of messages is what causes the symptoms of depression.
