Volcanoes- when lava and ash would harden and build up they'd form mountains
Earthquakes- the course of rivers can change, and so can the land from movement in the Earth's crust
Erosion- wind and water erosion wears away Earth's surface (creates canyons and wears down mountains)
What 3 things affect climate?
1. Distance from the equator (places closer the equator are warmer than places farther away from it)
2. Distance from the ocean (water doesn't change temperature as much as land, so it'll keep a coastal city warm or fresh depending on the season)
3. Elevation (places with higher elevation usually have cooler climates than places that are lower)
