This depends on the type of lease. Sometimes it is the same renewal time and sometimes the lease and voucher need to be renewed at different times.

How do you remove a squatter from your home?
Go to the civil court, serve the squatter a 30 day notice, provide documentation that you are the sole tenant, and once the squatter leaves you need to follow a specific process to dispose of the squatter's belongings otherwise you could be liable for a lawsuit.
