Can we reimbursement rideshare under rental reimbursement?

  2. Request customers submit receipts/proof of rideshare cost incurred with rideshare
  3. Ask questions to understand why customer used rideshare
    1. Examples of questions to ask:
      1. Where were you going to/coming from in rideshare vehicle?
      2. Why did you use rideshare as a vehicle replacement?
  4. Once receipts/proof of rideshare cost incurred are received, adjuster should review to determine if cost is reasonable and necessary.
    1. If cost and reason for using rideshare is reasonable, review with supervisor first. Supervisor must note file they reviewed and approve. Adjuster can issue reimbursement payment.
    2. If cost and/or reason for using rideshare is unclear or unreasonable, follow up with customer. Inform why cost cannot be reimbursed and if information missing, what customer can send in to support their claim.
