Youth can receive up to $50 based on grades and participation in school. In order to receive the youth will need to provide their quarterly report card to their worker.
What are ILP Apartments.
Apartments that youth in or transitioning out of care can reside in and learning life skills such as budgeting, cleaning, cooking, etc.. These apartments have a payment program where you only pay a percentage of rent until they can work you up to paying the full amount.
What is a Permanency Plan?
This is the plan that DHR is working towards. Examples are: Return to parent, Permeant Relative Placement, or adoption.

Individualized Service Plan. This is the agreement between DHR and client. Youth may begin attending at age 11. If you attend these meetings, you are able to advocate for your needs.
What other things can the foster youth scholarship cover?
Anything that assist you in beginning your career. Cosmetology school, welding classes, etc. any certifications that will allow you to begin a career after completing.
