Eye Control

Setup: Choose your opponent! Each team member picks their opponent from the other team.

Challenge: It's a staring contest! Playing in rounds, each team members will go up against one another. The first person to blink loses that round. The team with the most rounds won wins the points. Ties result in a blink off, where a select team member will pair off and stare for the win.

Hangman

Setup: It's every team for themselves! Neutral party acts as the facilitator.

Challenge: Facilitator chooses a word/phrase and plays a game of hangman. Each team takes turns guessing a letter but any team can guess the word/phrase at any time. The team that gets it first wins the points!

Setup: It's every team for themselves!

Challenge: The team that can correctly identify the OLDEST and the YOUNGEST team members on their team first wins the points!

Setup: It's every team for themselves! Each team selects TWO representatives who have the best fine motor skills.

Challenge: The first team to bead 10 beads onto a string wins! Each string of beads must have AT LEAST one letter bead, and beads of the same type/color CANNOT be right next to each other.

Hot N' Cold

Setup: Choose your opponent! Participating teams pick a representative, who waits outside/in the hallway.

Items: any small random object representing each team

Challenge: Each team picks an item to represent their team and hides it somewhere in the classroom. When ready, the reps enter the room and start at the same door. Communicating with only "Hot," "Cold," "Warm," and "Cool(er)," teams try to direct their representative to their OPPONENT'S hidden item. The team that finds their opponent's item first wins!

Challenge: The team that wins a game of rock, paper, scissors, BEST 2 OUT OF 3, wins the points!

Kinda Like I Spy

Setup: It's every team for themselves. Each team chooses a representative. Place a bucket of colored pencils in the middle.

Items: Bucket of colored pencils

Challenge: The first team to find and get RED, BLUE, YELLOW, and GREEN colored pencils wins. Shades of each color may be accepted depending on a neutral judge.

Memory Test

Setup: It's every team for themselves. Each team will select a representative with the best short-term memory.

Items: Paper & pens

Challenge: You have 30 seconds to memorize this list of words. After that, each team will write down as many words as they can remember in 1 minute. The team with the most words written gets the points. Ties = each team that tied gets the points.

Acroyoga

Setup: Every team for themselves! Each team needs to find a good amount of space around them to work with.

Items: Space!

Challenge: Working together, each team is trying to get one of their team members balanced on another's foot in the "bird" position. The first to get their pose down for three seconds wins! Note: practice safety!

Words in a Word

Setup: It's every team against each other.

Items: Paper & pens

Challenge: In 2 minutes, teams try to create as many words as they can using only the letters in the word of the day. The team with the most words wins! Ties = each team gets the points.

Yoga Dancers

Setup: It's every team for themselves. Each team chooses a representative.

Challenge: Each representative holds the yoga 'dancer' pose. The last person standing to hold the pose wins the points!

Setup: Choose your opponent. Each team will select TWO representatives to go up to the board.

Challenge: The first team to write their team members' names AND staffs' names in alphabetical order wins the points!

Marco Polo

Setup: Choose your opponent! The two teams choose a representative with the best hearing. These reps sit in the middle of the room and close their eyes/are blindfolded.

Challenge: The rest of the team members stand at various locations in the room. At the signal, the reps will try and identify VERBALLY where each team member is (ex: "Behind the TV"). Team members can only communicate by responding "Polo" when their rep says "Marco." Otherwise they must remain silent! First team to find all their teammates wins the points.

Paper Airplane Contest

Setup: All teams for themselves!

Items: Paper

Challenge: Each team must construct a paper airplane. The airplane that travels the farthest wins! Ties result in a roll off until one plane is farther than the other.

Setup: It's every team for themselves. Using a paper and pen, each team member will answer the following question:

Which would be your preferred date?

A) Going to a concert or sports game

B) Watching a movie

C) A nice walk on the beach

D) Rollercoasters and laser tag at a fair/amusement park

Challenge: Each team will take turns guessing what their opponents have selected as their response. The team that guesses the most correct answers gets the points! A tie means both teams get the points.

Tug-of-War

Setup: Choose your opponent! Every member of the participating teams will be competing! For this, you will need a rope with a flag tied on the middle.

Challenge: Good ol' tug of war. The team that brings their flag past the line wins!

Straw Race

Setup: Choose your opponent! Each team picks a representative. Place a chair or large object in the kinda-middle of the room.

Items: Straw, rolled up piece of paper

Challenge: It's a straw race! Each team starts at opposite ends of the "track." Using only their straw to blow with, the team to get their paper AROUND the chair and to the finish wins the points!

Make Them LAUGH!

Setup: Each team chooses a representative, it's every team for themselves. Representatives have a seat in a line and strengthen your mental strength.

Challenge: Teams, you are trying to make the OTHER teams laugh! The last representative to laugh wins the points!

Angry Birds

Setup: Choose your opponent. Each participating team will pick a representative who can take direction the best. These representatives will wait outside/in the hallway until directed to come back inside.

Items: Jenga blocks, rubber bands/hair ties, blindfolds

Challenge: Using Jenga blocks, each team will try to construct the sturdiest tower in 1 minute. After 1 minute, the team with the HIGHEST tower will get 300 points. After this time, the reps will be blindfolded/have their eyes closed, and will return to the room. Using the rubber bands, the reps will try and knock over their opponent's tower, guided by the directions of their teammates. The team that knocks over AT LEAST three of their opponent's blocks first wins the points!

Create & Appreciate

Setup: It's every team for themselves!

Items: Paper & pens

Challenge: Using the first letters of their own team members' names, each team will create the most DESCRIPTIVE & CREATIVE acrostic poem of themselves. A neutral judge will decide the winner of the points.
