No, there are exceptions. Exceptions can be made for the sick, the traveling, the children, the elderly, the pregnant or nursing mothers, and those who are otherwise physically compromised with regard to fasting.

No. Suhoor, which is when you begin fasting, starts at dawn (about an hour before sunrise).
