What is a Sectional Map?
The act of navigating an airplane by reference to landmarks or checkpoints.
What is pilotage?
Areas on the airport lined by blue lights that help pilots get from runway to hanger.
What are taxiways?
Refers to the physical shape and elevation of the land, showing its high and low points like mountains, valleys, and plains
What is relief?
A compass error caused by the magnetic interference of the aircraft itself, such as from metal parts or electrical currents

Lake used for recreational bathing in 1920's and connected to Lake Hood in 1940.
