For the safety and security of all residents and staff, the door shall be opened and the resident may leave. However, they will be placed on escape and both the Kintock on-call staff and BOP Duty Officer must be notified.

Goals should be clear and specific by addressing what the individual wants to accomplish, why the goal is important, who is involved in achieving it, where it is located, and which resources or limits are involved.
What is the timeframe for declaring an escape if operations staff cannot contact a resident?
30 minutes. Within 15 minutes, operations staff must complete police and hospital calls. At the 25-minute mark, the Kintock on-call must be contacted, who will then notify the BOP Duty Officer of the potential escape.
