This is the first person that should be made aware of any mishaps or accidents during a lab

Student E walks into class, sits down at the lab table, and immediately begins to read the lab directions and mixing unknown chemicals as indicated by the directions.

Don't start unless instructed to do so
Student A & B are working on their lab and spill their entire beaker of acid all over the lab bench. Student A cups their bare hands at the edge of the lab table so that the acid doesn't spill off the side. Meanwhile Student B warns people around them that they had a spill and runs to grab paper towel. They wipe up their spill and throw the paper towel out in the garbage.
