How do I locate my schedule?
I need to register for/drop my courses. Who do I contact?
For students in education programs (5 week format), Academic Advising will register on the students' behalf.
For students in all other programs (8 week format), student will need to work with their Academic Advisor to determine course plan and confirm registration. From there, the Academic Advisor will register on the students' behalf.
Drop: Students must email their Academic Advisor with a request to drop a class and include the Drop/Withdraw form.

Students will need to locate their own mentor/preceptor.
Students can reference the Practicum Handbook (education) or Student Handbook (nursing). They can also contact Academic Advising for clarification on mentor/preceptor requirements.

My courses were dropped for non-payment prior to the start date. What do I do?
For students in education programs (5 week format) should send a request to luacademic@lamar.edu and for students in all other programs (8 week format) should email their advisor or email Academic Advising if they are uncertain on who their assigned advisor is.
When do Master of Education program (counseling) start to work on their practicum hours/activities/log?
These students must wait to work on their practicum until they are in the final courses of the program .(Practicum & Internship)
