A family of 6 kids comes in with 1 parent. The ages of the kids are 3, 5, 7, 9, 12, and 16. The 12 and 16 year-olds meet the height requirement, but the rest of the kids do not and have also not passed their deep end test. How many kids in the group need a lifejacket?
2 kids need a lifejacket. It can be any of the kids ages 3-9 in the lifejacket. The 12 year-old is exempt by height and the 16 year-old is exempt by age.
Can a child who has NOT passed their deep end test go in the deep end with an adult in the pool?
NO.
