The term used to quickly name all 5 colors in Magic, typically said as one single word.
What is WUBRG?
The newest Card Supertype that appeared in March of the Machine. Sadly, we have not seen it since despite its interesting strategy of giving the opponent a secondary target to defend.
What are Battles?
This is the nickname for a 2mv 1/1 Green Snake Shaman, that allows you to sacrifice it to fetch a basic land onto the field tapped.
What is Steve?
His debut had him named "The Key to Everything", mainly due to his innate ability to map the ever changing Omenpaths in his mind.

What is Jund/Riveteers?
The color pairings used to have fun little names such as "Rock, Bug, USA, and Brew", but we didn't receive official in-game names for any of them until the first visit to this Magic plane.
What is Ravnica?
This Enchantment Sub-type is very often incorrectly attributed to be a Creature type, which many hopeful players learn the hard way once trying to name it for their Cavern of Souls. Its rare but one of the oldest subtypes, 2nd only to Aura.
What is Shrine?
This card is a 2mv 2/1 black creature, whose whole purpose is to feed you more cards at the cost of your own "blood". Its nickname originated from the art which featured a Pro Tour winner holding a staff...and its most recent printing featured an Ascian. Man how time flies...

What is Blue/Black or UB?
Its one of the only subtypes to be featured in the names of each card its on, and caused their casting to be an even meaner "gotcha!" than before by relying on your opponents taking specific actions to make them cheaper. The most infamous ones are Blue, which causing opponents to mill 13, or exile the entire spell stack on a whim.
What is Trap?
This 1mv white creature has the ability to protect one creature from a color of your choice until the end of turn...hmm.

A member of the "Lorwyn Five" and a founder of the eventual Gatewatch, this planeswalker has found himself in many roles and points of power including a small stint as the "Living Guildpact" of Ravnica.
Who is Jace Beleren?
Joshie has many favorite cards, but rarely allows the term "pet" to apply to any. Of the rare few that earn this moniker, this sorcery really likes to muck up the entire board by swapping control of all non-land permanents.
A member of the wrongfully non-legendary Nephalim, this specific one chose to exclude the color represented by the principles of Order, Justice, and Life.
What is Glint-Eye? (UBRG)
What is Host?
This nickname is probably the closest to the original card's name. Literally just swap the middle two letters around and you've got the first word of this 5mv black creature's name.
What is Gary?
This human is best known as an officer of the Consulate on Avishkar(formerly Kaladesh), and is tasked with bringing Aether smugglers to justice. Responsible for an iconic planeswalker's spark, he hunts fire mages down and forces compliance of his own volition.
Who is Baral, Chief of Compliance?
Havoc Festival, Slaugther Games, and Carnage Gladiator were some of the heavy hitters in this Guild's precon deck that Joshie unknowingly took to a Modern FNM.
What is Rakdos?
No powerful spellcaster is truly ready for battle without a powerful artifact or two up their sleeve. They can appear in every color nowadays, but back in the day this used to be a term for playing a "colorless" artifact deck.
What is Mono-Brown?
This is the Basic Land Subtype that was scrapped and would've served for a "colorless" basic land. We wouldn't see a basic colorless land until the "Waste" land was printed.
What is Cloud?
This nickname was given to a 3mv 1/2 UB creature that had the ability to one-shot an opponent with a single attack, often as a result of EOTFOFYL.
What is Dr. Teeth?
A planeswalker known for being one of the greatest thiefs of the Multiverse, though perhaps infamous for the dagger he stole that holds memories of the people who wield it.
Who is Dack Fayden?
This is the style of deck Joshie always wanted to build: one that let him get into the "red zone" of combat but still manage to do direct damage to his opponent.
What is Army-Burn?
