Yes, If a provider gives a patient a paper-based educational resource during their office visit, that instance is only attributable to that provider and should not be counted in the numerator for other providers within the group practice. However, if the resource is provided electronically it may be counted in the numerator for any provider within the group sharing the CEHRT who has contributed information to the patient's record. EH can also print and count towards the measure.

False, HealtheLife clients will not be required to develop an app or partner with a company with an app to meet the requirement. Clients with their own portals or their own identity providers will HAVE to do work against the API to integrate these solutions to count for objective 5 measure. If they want to continue that strategy their portal will need to approach Cerner to enter in a business agreement, accept the terms, and start developing against our API.
