Sexual Harassment

Since the appearance of the staff is a reflection of the employee, the resident and Montcare at Potomac this provides for a consistent professional appearance.

Retaliation
A system is used to ensure that each employee is correctly paid for the hours worked and for all approved paid absences.

Eligible employees begin accruing these hours from first day of employment and can be used after 90 day probationary period. The kind of hours must be accrued before they can be used.
Sick and Safe Leave
Montcare Potomac's email & internet are meant for business use only. Employee's should not use passwords , access file or retrieve any stored communication without authorization.

If an employee is a nursing mother they are allowed
Unpaid breaks and a private room that is free from intrusion and shielded from view
If the department director, the director of nursing or the employee's immediate supervisor is not available the employee should notify .... if employee shall need to leave or can cannot make it
The Rn Supervisor
Montcare at Potomac would appreciate it if you could give adequate written notice if it should be necessary for you to leave so that a replacement can be properly trained to ensure good care of the residents. For supervisory, executive and management positions, at least 4 weeks written notice is considered adequate notice. Adequate notice for other personal is considered 2 weeks written notice
