This muscle is named for its shape. The muscle is a postural and active movement muscle, used to tilt and turn the head and neck, shrug, steady the shoulders, and twist the arms.
What is Trapezius?
Has four actions which are primarily responsible for movement of the shoulder joint
Supinates the hand, flexes the elbow when the hand is supinated, and helps move the upper arm up and towards the body at the shoulder.
A doubled headed muscle in the back of your calf
What is Gastrocnemius?
This muscle controls movements of the mouth
A small skeletal muscle on the back that connects the scapula with the vertebrae of the spinal column
What is Rhomboid Minor?
Allow’s the forward rotation of the arm and to pull the scapula forward and around the rib cage.
What is Serratus Anterior?
This muscle flexes the forearm at the elbow, especially when quick movement is required and when a weight is lifted during slow flexion of the forearm
What is Brachioradialis?
This muscle is attached to the pelvis and tibia via tendons. The muscle has several functions, including enabling the leg to flex and rotate, and serving as a thigh extensor
What is Semimembranosus?
It’s purpose is to pull back the angle of the mouth and to flatten the cheek area, which aids in holding the cheek to the teeth during chewing
What is Buccinator?
Helps to hold the scapula (and thus the upper limb) onto the ribcage

What is Temporalis?
The muscle that contributes to the movement and stabilization of the vertebral column and the thorax
What is Serratus Posterior?
The main function of this muscle is flexion of the trunk
This muscle is a medial rotator and adductor of the humerus and assists the latissimus dorsi in drawing the previously raised humerus downwards and backwards (extension, but not hyper extension).
What is Teres Major?
The only muscle that flexes the hip
What is Rectus Femoris?
The main function is to help bite down or chew
What is Masseter?
