Our protocol states that if a resident hits their head we are REQUIRED to call EMS. They can refuse care, but they have to refuse care through the paramedics, not us.

205 isn't feeling well and ends up at the hospital, 314 comes up to you and is asking if we've heard anything about her and if she is okay. What do you say?

Our protocol states that we are not allowed to give information about one resident to another. This is against HIPAA and is considered a violation.
