What is the standard regarding jewelry and bracelets for Elders and Sisters? 

Keep accessories and jewelry, including watches, simple, professional, and conservative so they do not distract from your message or draw attention. Leave expensive jewelry at home. 

Elders, this means no more than 1 ring and a watch. No flashy, dangling, or threaded bracelets. Look to what the apostles wear.

What should be the focus of a Ward Mission Plan? 

The ward council creates a simple plan for sharing the gospel. Become familiar with this plan. In weekly coordination meetings, look for ways to help leaders work toward their goals. Keep leaders informed about what you are doing to support members in sharing the gospel.

As the Lords representatives, what is our standard on our language when we are with others or as a companionship? 

Keep your language dignified and avoid using slang. Use appropriate titles when addressing others. For example, use the title of “Elder” or “Sister” when referring to other missionaries to show respect for their calling.

Be mindful of our language, when using words like "fetch" or "frick" ponder upon what that is substituting and standing in place of.

What is the standard for sunglasses worn by Disciples of Jesus Christ?

Keep accessories simple, professional, and conservative so they do not distract from your message or draw attention.

 You may wear simple and conservative sunglasses to provide protection from the sun. Remove sunglasses when speaking with others. Do not wear sunglasses with bright-colored rims or mirrored lenses. Do not wear hats or sunglasses indoors.

Beginning at 8am and ending at 6pm you may call family and communicate to only family on messenger.

When communicating with friends use email. 

If communicating with missionary in your mission make sure it is relevant to your purpose and confirm with companion before sending. 

Always be within sight and sound.

As it begins to get colder you may wear outerwear. What are we advised to do when wearing hats, sweaters, or jackets? 

In cold weather you may wear sweaters, coats, gloves, scarves, and hats as needed. These items should be simple and conservative, without words, pictures, or logos (however, small, non-distracting logos are acceptable).

Outerwear should fit well, look professional, and be appropriate for the climate and conditions of your mission. Hats and gloves should not be worn indoors.

Do not try to make deals with the Lord and expect specific blessings by adjusting what is required of you. 

 For example, don’t try to bargain with the Lord by getting up earlier, going without food or drink (beyond the monthly fast), or skipping a preparation day.
