Family notified of new medication and in agreeable with the plan of care. Orders sent down to pharmacy. Care plan and Kardex updated from frequent rounding and VS daily.

Patients lung sounds are clearing up and patient is breathing easier. her oxygen saturation is 95% on room air. Patient is down 1.5 pounds with 1+ pitting edema. Will continue to monitor progress.
