How do you schedule a solo review?
Sheril will ensure you have met the minimum requirements and ask you for three possible workshop dates. The solo reviewer will then be assigned.
Can instructors teach concepts outside of the fundamental building blocks of OIS, within an OIS workshop?
No. That can affect your ability to maintain certification.
What physical skills can an Advanced Level instructor teach?
Trick question! Advanced is not an instructor level.
What are the pre-requisites for recertification workshops?
Must be certified for 4 consecutive years in OIS. This must be verified by the instructor.
Name 3 circumstances in which you can de-certify a participant?
Substantiated abuse, felony conviction, failing a background check, documented disregard or adherence to OIS and PBS principles, improper use of physical skills, failure to use reasonable response.
