I already incentivize my team. We do this internally.
So honestly, most owners who love Onaroll already have rewards programs in place, but the whole beauty of Onaroll is that it’s taking all of that work off your hands because everything is automated. Not to mention that it’s much more effective than other rewards programs because it’s gamified. The fact that encourages engagement through daily goals and recognition pushes the needle forward day in and day out.
Love to hear that. Most of our customers do as well. Again we didn’t create gamification - what we did is add technlogy to it and found a way to engage with every single team member all while motivating them with no work on your end.

Points to do expire as long as they are employeed by you. Onaroll is a benefit for working at your organization, so if they are no longer employed by you they loose access to their points.

What life stage inspired Pete to create Onaroll, and share that story
While I was at Starbucks building the "moonshot" innovation group for the CEO Kevin Johnson, I was completely inspired by how the company celebrates and rewards employees - especially baristas. Every decision at the company starts with a question: "how will this impact our front lines?"
I, too, became obsessed with the employee experience - and this massive opportunity to reduce turnover by celebrating the folks who are the engine of the American economy - so I left Starbucks, bottled up the mentality of celebration as well as some of the tactics, to create Onaroll - where we celebrate and reward employees.
Who on the CS team should you ping if you have any integrations questions and what channel?
Stephanie, and the integrations channel
I need corporate approval
We work with brands ranging from McDonalds to Culvers to Wendy’s and I can assure you that similar to all of them, since you are simply motivating and rewarding your own employees, there is no corporate approval needed as we’ve confirmed with dozens of brands and every time it’s the same answer...so you are good to celebrate your team”
Gotcha, so it’s actually a very common thought. Because this is relating to your specific employees only at your stores - you don’t need corporate approval. Again, we work with brands from McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Popeyes and as I’m sure you know they are all very strict. So you can definitely motivate your team with Onaroll.

How do rewards affect taxes?
We do not provide tax advice. However, typically the redemption remains under the $600 threshold. Some of our customers we provide reports to monthly/quarterly on total $’s redeemed by each employee.
“Re tax implications — this has come up a few times but ultimately has been a non-issue. We're obviously not tax advisors, but our customers who have investigated this topic and relay to us that the total value of Onaroll Perks qualify as a fringe benefit and therefore do not have tax implications.
