Will someone who is 23 qualify as Transitioning Youth?
No.To join DDA services using the Transitioning Youth category, a student is eligible from his/her 21st birthday until his/her 22nd birthday. If the date of graduation is after the student's 21st birthday, they are be eligible for one year after the date of graduation.

No - A CPS background check is only required for the employees of employers who are under the age of 18. Transitioning Youth can apply to employers who are ages 14 through 21.
