What is the difference between a transaction code & settlement code?
Transaction rejection codes indicate status of initial transfer.
Settlement codes direct you towards the refund status.
When can you cancel a pending refund?
Only a team lead or manager are authorized to cancel refunds.
The refund must be under $300 CAD .
Note: if the value is over $300 CAD the customer will need to wait for the transaction to expire manually (7 business days from the date it was initiated).
There is an obvious error in the refund sent such as:
Incorrect domain, spelling, etc.
Internal error where the incorrect information was provided or entered.
