Disruption Pushing/shoving (minor) Disrespect Calling out
What is CLASSROOM MANAGED

I can send a child to the office or Jude without an ODR as a "timeout"
What is FALSE- If a child comes to the office, they should have an ODR that qualifies as office managed. Please take a moment to fill out the ODR completely and correctly so admin can support you. Otherwise the ODR with chronic minor sheet attached is placed in Jude's box
100
I have a child with a Chronic Minor chart attending specials (PE, Art, Music, STEAM, band/strings)
What is Have a conversation with the specialist teacher to see if they are having behavior concerns as well. If so, the chronic minor chart should be given to the specialist to track behaviors during that block

Instead of: Giving a reminder and then turning away immediately to tend to something else Try: Watching, and then acknowledging the child’s action with a nod or a smile. No words are needed. Is an example of this kind of RC language
What is An example of REMINDING LANGUAGE Important: Watch for follow-through. After giving a reminder, take a moment to see if the child acts. If we don’t do this, children may learn that we don’t mean what we say.

RC says that these types of consequences help children connect their behavior to its effects, respect the child, and repair any damage that behavior may have caused.
What is Logical Consequences Examples: If a student fools around and spills water all over the bathroom, a logical consequence might be that he cleans up the water. Or if a child accidentally deletes her partner’s computer work, she needs to find a way to help her partner recreate the work. If a student is losing self-control during group work, you may direct her to take a positive time-out, a break from the action so she can regroup mentally and emotionally.
500
Without concrete data, all you have is an opinion

Often children become off task, fidgety, and lose focus after sitting for an extensive period of time. It is important that we incorporate this into our daily learning environment
What is MOVEMENT/Brain Breaks Movement increases oxygen and blood flow, enhancing alertness and helping students keep bodies and minds engaged in the task at hand. And because movement activities can be fun and engaging for all members of the class, they help create a positive learning community. Plus, movement included during lessons can reinforce the skills being taught. Far from interfering with learning, movement actually increases it.
