What does an OT do that distinguishes itself from PT?
OTs help their patients to participate in everyday occupations, also know as ADLs (activities of daily living) - and these can include ALL meaningful activities a person desires and needs to participate in for daily life (walking/running, cooking, getting dressed, driving, a sport, etc.)

Phantom pain refers to discomfort or pain in the area where a limb has been lost; even though the limb has been removed, the motor/sensory neurons involved in that area are still intact in your brain and can be triggered and signal pain, making the person feel pain in the limb that is not there.
