Make sure your questions are on-topic.
Ask 3 students before you ask me. Sometimes you ask me questions I have already answered or it is a simple question your peer could answer.
Raise your hand quietly and wait to be called on.

Sit in assigned seat
Right goes right, left goes right. Three fingers (instead of peace sign) or motion to blow nose and raise hand.
Bathroom requests
Peace sign quietly, teacher approves, complete bathroom pass, bring it to teacher, grab the hall pass, and close the door.

What to do in an emergency?
Listen to adult directions
Fire - when we hear the fire alarm, we have to evacuate quickly. Leave your things. Go to Room 13 on the field in a single file line. No running to other classrooms.
Earthquake - stop, drop under the table, hold the table and cover your head with the other arm. We have to wait a few minutes for aftershocks and for any flying glass to leave the building before safely evacuating.

Ask 3 before me. Put your phone on my desk and get a pencil from under the whiteboard. Return it at the end of class to get your phone back.
How we treat adults in class
Wait to be called on, listen to adult directions, we are polite and respectful. We speak calmly. We go up to the adult to ask something rather than shout across the room.

How we treat peers in class
Use kind language, don't interrupt, be helpful, no bullying/laughing at people, no cursing, keep your hands to yourself, use inside voices, no yelling.
