What is Do not include SPI in the account notes.
Customer contact information and rate plan information may be included in account notes to resolve a customer issue.
If you see SPI in an account note, notify your manager who will contact the supervisor of the person who entered the note. For more information refer to the Account Notes Policy in Related Links*.
Never remove customer SPI from company premises. In other words, do not send SPI via e-mail to your home or outside computer, and do not carry documents with SPI outside the work location.
Do not e-mail SPI, including system screenshots, on internal documents that contain SPI to other employees.
Do not ask customers to e-mail their SPI.
Do not leave a customer's password or other SPI on voicemail.
Do not ask a customer for any e-mail passwords.
Do not write down on paper any data containing the customer's SPI information.
All documents containing customer SPI must be shredded, or erased, in the case of computer media, prior to disposal.
Whiteout all SPI when e-mailing or mailing a document that contains SPI.
Do not text any PII or SPI to a customer.
