What is a delusion?
A delusion is a fixed, false belief that a person holds with strong certainty despite clear evidence that contradicts it.
True or false: If a client is experiencing symptoms of psychosis, they have schizophrenia.
False! Schizophrenia includes symptoms of psychosis. One key difference is duration and persistence. Schizophrenia is a long-term condition characterized by recurring episodes of psychosis, whereas psychosis itself can be a temporary state.

What are the types of delusions?
Persecutory (Paranoid): Believing that someone is tracking, harming, or conspiring against you.
