Succession is the series of progressive changes in an ecosystem over time after a disturbance. Primary starts on bare rock. Secondary starts on some soil. Biodiversity starts out very low and ends very high.

cross out answers that are definitely wrong to narrow it down, mark any questions that you are unsure of so you can go back and double check them at the end, use the test! it usually contains clues that will help you, underline exactly what the question wants from you (a process, a substance, 2 abiotic factors, etc.), double check your scantron bubble sheet is filled out correctly

Describe the relationship between biodiversity and ecosystem stability. And explain why.

As biodiversity increases, ecosystem stability increases because there are more food options. If one species goes extinct or migrates, there are other species around to fill that space and the other species will not be as affected.
