What is race?
Its aim is to develop and promote community strategies and policies that improve nutrition, increase physical activity and expand access to healthy foods in Stockton and within organizations that serve the region's African-American community.

What are the colors of the logo?
The issue track about how people that come to the US from other places face many obstacles. This issue and racial justice are tied together because a person's race or ethnicity can sometimes make it more difficult for them to come live here.

What is the San Joaquin River?
Prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against a person or people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized
What is racism?
Their Youth & Racial Justice Department works to dismantle structural and systemic barriers negatively impacting youth’s life trajectory and overall well-being. They taught us about the School to Prison Pipeline and why restorative justice is a better alternative.

What is a Changeist?
The issue track about how people who are not straight or who do not identify with the gender they were assigned at birth face many issues in society. Race can also have an effect on how society treats people in this group. (Example: A black transgender person may be targeted more than a black cis person or a white transgender person)
What is Gender/LGBTQ Justice?
The previous mayor of Stockton who started Universal Basic Income in the city and launched Stockton Scholars
Who is Michael Tubbs?
The systematic fair treatment of people of all races that results in all people being able to achieve their full potential regardless of race, ethnicity, or the community they grew up in
What is racial justice?
A Stockton-based organization that provides services to low-income, minority, and marginalized communities. They taught us about immigration rights in a "Know Your Rights" workshop.
What is El Concilio?
A group of Changeists that come together every week to learn more about an issue
What is an Issue Track Team?
The issue track about how things like pollution and too much trash have an impact on society. This is related to racial justice because solutions to this issue are prioritized more for high income neighborhoods than for low income neighborhoods, which are often populated mostly by people of color.
What is Environmental Justice?
The oldest university in the state, founded in 1851 in Santa Clara and moved to Stockton in 1923
What is University of the Pacific?
Recognizes that each person has different circumstances and allocates the exact resources and opportunities needed to reach an equal outcome. This is different than equality, which means that everyone is given the same resources regardless of whether they need them or not.
What is equity?
An organization that provides reproductive healthcare and education and advocated fro access to healthcare. They taught us about how access to reproductive healthcare is affected by race and other factors.
What is Planned Parenthood?
The part of the logo that represents everyone's individual story
What is the Black Box?
The issue track about the overall health of the community, access to healthcare, and disease prevention. This is related to racial justice because a large portion of people who have low or no access to healthcare are people of color.

A system of criminal justice which focuses on the rehabilitation of offenders through reconciliation with victims and the community at large
What is restorative justice?
Provides support for LGBTQ+ students and allies. Their goals are to help LGBTQ+ students succeed and to improve campus culture.

Young people are rad, we fix systems not people, we are intersectional feminists, relationships are our superpower, learning happens on our terms, and being human is messy
What are the Changeist Values?
The issue of kids in schools being punished in ways that are not constructive and instead put them on a path toward prison. This is related to racial justice because these punishments are often racially biased.
What is the School to Prison Pipeline (S2PP)?
The period of California's history in which people first inhabited Stockton
What is the Gold Rush?
