It symbolizes being buried and resurrected in the likeness of Christ.
Do we DESERVE God's blessing of salvation?
NO! There is nothing we can do to deserve or earn salvation!
What is the purpose of communion?
To remember Christ's sacrifice He made for our sins and for us to repent of our sins to Him.
