There are two roads split in a forest during the fall time. There is one man traveling the forest, he feels anxiety that he cannot go down both roads, thus knowing he is forced to make a decision.

Choices. Life is full of choices, one choice always leads to another choice. We are a result of our decisions.

and that has made all the difference"
He emphasizes "I" to prove it was his decision and no one elses. He took the road of noncomformity which was a difficult decision that changed his life (for better or for worse we are unsure)
He did not get published for 20 years but never gave up with his passion. He continued writing despite his failures.
