You encourage others by saying positive things and leading by example.
How do you ask for help in class?
You ask you partner and group. If you still can't get the answer raise your hand quietly and wait for help.
When the bell rings during recess what is the first thing you do?

Ask to use first before taking anything.
When can I use the bathroom?
Anytime during class, as long as you have permission and a bathroom pass.

When can I sharpen my pencil?
Before school, during recess time or afterschool. You can also trade your pencil for another.

By listening to the people talking, taking turns sharing, and using positive language.
